About the event
Justice Weekend will be three days of events featuring four facets of justice: criminal, economic, environmental, and gender. Held on June 2-3, 2023, at Trident Technical College, this conference will give attendees access to minority businesses, dynamic speakers, and interactive workshops to better understand equity issues and social justice.
The theme for 2023 is “Justice Takes A Village,” all workshop sessions will cover this theme through several lenses.
- Awareness: Strengthening our collective awareness and understanding of the causes and impacts of racism and the need for racial justice.
- Skills: Equip and prepare community members and leaders with skills to use the strategies to take action to advance racial and social justice.
- Capacity: Equip members and stakeholders with tools and resources to advocate, mobilize, and organize to disrupt systemic racism and advance racial and social justice in our communities.
